John Plumb Releases First TV Ad, “Generations”
Jamestown, New York - U.S. Naval Reserve Commander John Plumb, candidate for Congress in New York's 23rd district, is releasing his campaign's first television advertisement today.
The ad is titled "Generations." It is about how John's twenty-two years of military service, his experience growing up in a family that has been in the Southern Tier for four generations, and his distaste for the broken system in Washington are the driving forces behind his run for Congress. On the launch of his campaign's first TV advertisement, Commander Plumb stated:"I'm proud to call the Southern Tier my home. When I was growing up in Randolph-a little town right outside of Jamestown-I learned that you worked hard and the greatest values were service to country, community, and family. These are the same values that motivate so many hard working men and women across our communities in the Southern Tier. These same values motivated me to join the Navy over twenty years ago. And these same values are why I am running for Congress today. Too often our communities get left behind because those in Washington only value serving themselves, advancing their own interests and those of rich, powerful donors, instead of the real needs here in the Southern Tier. We deserve a new representative in Washington - one who will serve with integrity and a true commitment to our working families."
