Stan Lundine Endorses John Plumb for Congress

Jamestown, New York – Former Lieutenant Governor, Congressman and Mayor of Jamestown Stan Lundine is officially announcing today his endorsement of John Plumb for Congress in New York’s 23rd district.

Plumb Unveils Policy Priorities for Ending Our Opioid Epidemic

Elmira, New York – U.S. Navy Commander John Plumb, fourth generation Western New Yorker and candidate for Congress in New York’s 23rd District, announced his policy priorities for ending our opioid epidemic. Commander Plumb unveiled the platform in Elmira.

“I grew up in a small town and I know firsthand both the unique challenges our communities face and how capable we are of fixing tough problems when men and women all across the political spectrum work together. Ending the opioid epidemic is no different, and we need to work together to bring it to a halt before it harms our communities any further,” said Commander Plumb. “Because this epidemic is disproportionately affecting rural America, we need a plan that explicitly addresses the challenges unique to our rural communities, including the lack of substance abuse treatment facilities, limited law enforcement resources, and public awareness. My plan presents concrete steps Congress can take to address the opioid epidemic - steps designed especially for rural communities.”
